This is a not-so-good photograph of the geisha from I saw in Kyoto. I like the profile shot but it didn't turn out how I wanted and she moved on before I could arrange to take another picture. I'm sure someone could paint over this and make it beautiful.

you were totally at kiyomizu! Your pic is pretty! I took my own picture of the number of geisha-wanna-bes walking around. But they never stay still for long. I really like the profile and im sorry the colors werent as intense as i imagine you wished them to be. during what season did you take this picture? Yeah, I was. *LOL* I've come to the conclusion that this girl wasn't a real geisha apprentice. I was there in March, while it was still a bit too cold for the cherry blossoms to come out and things to be in flower. But it was still lots of fun for my first overseas trip.
